The first Sanjeevani Clinic was started in Bhopal in 2019. In these centres, 208 types of medicines are available for the patients. At present 46 Sanjeevani clinics are operational in Bhopal.
Navdunia Representative, Bhopal. Expanding health services in urban areas, 22 new Mukhyamantri Sanjeevani Clinics are being started in the coming days. Doctors and paramedical staff have been appointed by the Health Department in the new Sanjeevani Clinic. Medical staff have also joined their institutions. 22 new Sanjeevani clinics are being started by the end of the month. Mukhyamantri Sanjeevani Clinics, started by the government to provide basic health services close to home, have proved to be very useful.

The Department of Public Health and Medical Education is continuously making efforts to expand health services through Sanjeevani Clinics in urban areas. For this, new Sanjeevani buildings have been prepared by the Health Department through the Municipal Corporation. Apart from diseases like cold, cough, fever etc., prenatal checkup, family welfare services, vaccination, adolescent health, elderly health services, childhood diseases, diabetes, hypertension and infectious diseases are being done here. 208 types of medicines and 80 types of pathology tests are also available free of cost in these centres. Through Sanjeevani Clinic, the services of on-call specialist doctors are also being availed to enable the patients to get the services of specialist doctors near their homes.
Started in 2019
It is noteworthy that the first Sanjeevani Clinic in Bhopal district was started on December 7, 2019 from Priyadarshini Nagar ward number 46. At present 46 Sanjeevani clinics are operational in Bhopal. Through these, services were provided to 452331 beneficiaries in the year 2023-24. So far, services have been provided to more than two lakh beneficiaries in the year 2024-25.

Staff have been appointed in all 22 new Sanjeevani clinics. Medicines, equipment and most of the resources have been made available in these institutions. Work on some more new Sanjeevani clinics is in progress. Once the work is completed, they will be started by the end of this year.
