Navdunia Representative, Bhopal. To impart knowledge of ancient Sindhi Sanatan culture to the new generation of Sindhi society, Amar Katha Granth will now be recited in every house. On the call of Thakur Sai Manishlal, the 26th descendant of Lord Jhulelal, it has been started from Sant Hirdaram Nagar (Bairagadh). Amar Katha Granth will also be recited in Jhulelal temples.
Call for regular recitation in Chaliha Festival
Sai Manishlal has started distribution of Amar Katha focusing on the incarnation and culture of Varun Avatar Bhagwan Jhulelal. Sindhi community is celebrating Chaliha Mahotsav these days. Regular programs of worship of Bhagwan Jhulelal are being held in temples.
In this context, Sai Manishlal has called for recitation of Amar Katha in all Jhulelal temples. Chaliha Mahotsav is celebrated as the most sacred festival in Sindhi society. Sai Manishlal has said that by reciting Amar Katha for 40 consecutive days during this festival, all the wishes of the devotees will definitely be fulfilled. On Sai’s call, recitations are being done across the country.
Children also reached the temple to recite
The group recitation started with worship and prayer at Jhulelal, Asanlal temple located in the old B ward of Sant Hirdaram Nagar. According to Bharat Aswani, the executive president of Pujya Sindhi Panchayat, now Amar Katha is being recited every day from 6 to 7 in the evening. On the first day, children also came to recite.
