Bhopal News: Locks of two houses in the same colony were broken, thieves fled with goods worth lakhs

Navdunia Representative, Bhopal Bhopal Crime News: Thieves broke the locks of two empty houses in Sheetal Nagar Colony located in Berasia Tehsil and fled with goods worth lakhs including cash and jewellery. At the time of the incident, the people of both the houses had gone out with their families. They came to know about the incident after returning.

After receiving the complaint, the police have registered FIRs in both the cases and started searching for the unknown thieves. The police is looking for clues about the unknown thieves with the help of CCTV cameras installed in the area. Information is also being collected by interrogating the people of the colony.

The family had gone to the village on the festival

According to the Bairasia police, Sarwan Prajapati lives with his family in Sheetal City Colony and is originally from Khejra Mishra village. On September 5, he had gone to the village with his family for a festival. The house was empty after he left. When Sarwan returned on Sunday, the lock of the house was broken. When he went inside, about Rs 20,000 in cash and gold and silver jewellery kept in the room were missing. The cost of the stolen goods is about Rs 1 lakh.

Teacher’s house targeted

Here, Ghanshyam Meena’s house, who lives in Sheetal City Colony, was also burgled. He is a teacher by profession and originally hails from Lalaria area. Meena had gone to the village with his family at around 8 pm on Saturday night after locking the house. When he returned on Monday, the lock was broken. When he went inside, the items were scattered and five thousand rupees in cash and gold-silver jewelry kept in the house were missing. Police say that investigation is going on. The thieves will be arrested soon.
