The girl’s life could have been saved, but she could not tell the family about the snakebite, due to which she could not get timely treatment and she died during treatment at JP Hospital on Sunday. The police have registered a case.
SSI Sunil Tripathi, who is investigating the case, said that 9-year-old Ilma Khan lives in Kajlikhera. On Saturday evening, she was playing with her friends near the house. Then suddenly she started having pain in her leg and she came home. She told her family about the pain in her leg and went to sleep.
Health suddenly deteriorated on Sunday morning
On Sunday morning, her pain increased and her health started deteriorating. The girl’s relatives took her to a nearby hospital, where it was found that the girl had been bitten by a snake. After this, she was also treated with exorcism.
Death during treatment at Jaypee Hospital
When the girl’s health did not improve, her relatives admitted her to JP Hospital in the afternoon. But after some time, the girl lost the battle of life. The police have sent the body for post-mortem.
