Ayushman Yojana: Registration for people above 70 years of age begins in Ayushman Yojana, will get these benefits

The government will release the registration number later.

Registration of 70 year old elders started in Ayushman Bharat. Elderly people already included will get additional Rs 5 lakh. Elderly people coming under the ambit of income tax are also included in the scheme.

State Bureau, Naiduniya. Bhopal: After the announcement of giving special benefits to the elderly above 70 years of age under Ayushman Bharat Scheme, their registration has been started in the state. Apart from the portal of Ayushman Bharat Madhya Pradesh, you can register yourself in the Ayushman centers of hospitals. The elderly who are already included in the scheme will also be registered separately, so that they can avail the benefit of additional treatment facility of Rs 5 lakh in a year.

Benefits will be available as per prescribed conditions

Dr. Yogesh Bhaskat, CEO of Ayushman Bharat Yojana Madhya Pradesh, said that the information about how many beneficiaries have registered has not been collected yet. The numbers will be revealed after the date of giving benefits under the scheme is decided by the Central Government. Along with this, the people of the state will also start getting benefits as per the conditions set by the Centre.

Now elderly people above 70 years of age who come under the ambit of income tax will also be able to participate in it. Also, the elderly of this age group already covered will have the facility of additional treatment up to Rs 5 lakh in a year. New packages of diseases will also be added according to old age.
