In the case of inciting an attempt to murder in Kotma court on Saturday, the court sentenced the accused woman Kalpana wife of Kamala Patkar, 54 years, resident of Ward No. 14 Bhalumaada, to ten years of imprisonment. On hearing the sentence, the woman consumed poisonous substance in the court itself and collapsed there. It was told that in the year 2020, Anshul Patkar had shot his father Kamala Patkar with the intention of killing him. However, the father’s life was saved during this time, on which the Bhalumaada police had registered a case. The complainant had told that son Anshul Patkar had fired the shot on the instigation of Kalpana Patkar.
On this, the police had registered a case against Kalpana Patkar for inciting an attempt to murder and started investigation. It was told that Anshul Patkar has been in jail for the last two years, while on Saturday, on hearing the case, the court found Kalpana Patkar guilty and sentenced her to 10 years of imprisonment.
He consumed poison immediately after hearing the sentence
As soon as the woman heard the sentence, she abused the judge in the court and consumed a poisonous substance, after which she fell unconscious. The policemen present on the spot admitted her to the Community Health Center Kotma for treatment. Where the doctor treated her on first aid.
