Accused Mangilal Verma does AC repairing work. The accused has a long-standing friendship with the victim’s husband and a case has been registered under various sections including molestation and assault.
Navdunia Representative, Bhopal. In Kamlanagar police station area, a man fell in love with his friend’s wife after his wife’s death. He would often reach the friend’s house in the friend’s absence and follow the woman. Not only this, he even proposed his friend’s 48-year-old wife for marriage. At first, being her husband’s friend, the woman started ignoring his actions, but when his actions went beyond limits, he got angry and assaulted her when she reprimanded him and threw him out of the house.
After which the woman complained about this to Kamalanagar police station. A case has been registered against the accused under several sections including molestation and assault. ASI Rekha Sharma, who is investigating the case, said that 45-year-old Mangilal Verma does AC repairing work. The accused has a long-standing friendship with the victim’s husband and has been visiting each other’s house. Mangilal’s wife had passed away some time ago.
After this he often went to his friend’s house. For the past ten days, the accused used to follow the woman wherever she went and also molest her. Finding the woman alone, he even proposed marriage, but the woman got angry and scolded him and asked him to leave the house. Angered by this, the accused again entered the victim’s house, abused her and assaulted her. Police have registered the case and started investigation.
