A youth missing from Indore for five days was strangled to death, body found in Barwani

Naiduniya Representative, Indore (Indore News). Police has detained the friends of the youth who went missing from Indore’s Pulak City (Silicon City) five days ago. The friends have accepted to have strangled the youth to death. Police is interrogating the accused. The youth had a transaction of four and a half lakh rupees with the cafe owner. The body which the police was searching for was found by the police in Barwani area and Barwani police buried it considering it to be unclaimed.

The body was identified when the police called for photographs on Wednesday night. According to the Rau police, paan-gutkha shop owner Gajanand Parihar, 25, left home on August 24. When he did not return home till evening, his wife Sandal Solanki reported him missing. In the call details (CDR) and CCTV footage, Gajanand was last seen with Ashish Panwar.

Two more friends of Ashish were taken into custody

Ashish has a cafe in Rajendra Nagar area. Police took Ashish into custody on Wednesday. When questioned, he told that he had strangled Gajanand to death. His three friends were also with him. Police took Ashish, Rahul and Dheeraj into custody.

The accused kept misleading the police. They told the police that Gajanand’s body was thrown between Manpur and Khalghat. According to ACP Rubina Mizwani, the accused is clever. He was misleading the police at first. Later he confessed to killing him. On the other hand, Rajpur police under Barwani police station found Gajanand’s body. After getting the post-mortem done, he was buried considering him as unclaimed.

According to the police, accused Ashish had a monetary transaction with Gajanand. Gajanand had left home saying that he was going to get some money. On the way, Ashish met him and took him in the car saying that he was going to Jaipur. His three friends were also with him.

When the police took out the footage of the car, Ashish’s car was seen going from Mhow Tollnaka. The accused also tried to mislead the police. As part of the conspiracy, Gajanand’s mobile was thrown at another place. Gajanand’s mobile was found in the Intercity Express near Bhawanipur. The train staff submitted it to the GRP.
