A tribal youth accused of bike theft in Khandwa’s Pandhana police station committed suicide by hanging himself

Khandwa (Khandwa News). The accused arrested in the case of bike theft committed suicide by hanging himself with a blanket in the lockup of Pandhana police station at around 12 o’clock in the night. He is a resident of tribal village Diwal. There is anger among tribal organizations regarding the incident. In view of which the police has deployed force in the village.

Dharmendra, son of Guman (32), resident of village Diwal, was arrested by Pandhana police in a case of bike theft. Police was also questioning him in the case of theft of Rs 20 lakh in village Diwal. After preliminary interrogation, three bikes were seized from him and he was kept in lockup.

Where he tore the blanket and made a noose out of it and hanged himself. As soon as the police got information about the incident, they took him to the district hospital, where the doctor declared him dead. The postmortem of the body will be done by a panel of doctors this morning.

Five suspects fled from Moghat police station, TI line attached, constable suspended
