The donation boxes of the Achaleshwar temple were opened on Sunday morning after a month. This includes the offerings of the first and second Monday of the month of Sawan. On both Mondays, an amount of Rs 50,000 each has come as offerings.

Donation letters of 20 gram and 10 gram silver coins have also been found. This month, along with offerings, devotees have also presented letters of their problems at the feet of Lord Achalnath for their resolution. These include domestic and family problems.

Letters of requests from devotees of Lord Achalnath have been found in the donation box. A devotee has written that I need three thousand rupees. I have lost this money, please arrange for it for me. Apart from this, there are letters related to family problems. A letter has also been found with the name of a young girl.

Counting took place in six hours

On the instructions of retired High Court judge NK Modi, chairman of Achleshwar Sanchalan Samiti, the retired bank employees opened the locks of the 14 donation boxes in the temple. For counting, the notes were first sorted and bundles were made. After that, the notes were counted. Temple manager Virendra Sharma said that this month, an amount of Rs. 6 lakh 53 thousand 450 was received as offerings.
