Navdunia Representative, Bhopal. 55 government colleges of the state have been selected as Prime Minister College of Excellence. Under this, Government Hamidia College in the capital has been selected as Prime Minister College of Excellence.

Under the National Education Policy, employment-oriented courses are being started in these colleges. Under this, B.Com with Banking Insurance and Finance and B.Com Retail Management subjects have been started for the students in this college. The process for admission in this has been started.

Apart from this, the government has also started nine courses in the aviation sector which will be certificate courses of three to four months. Admissions have started for certificate courses in aviation and warehousing in Hamidia Mahavidyalaya. There will be 30 seats in this. 70 percent of the total fees of each student for this course will be borne by the government and the remaining 30 percent will have to be paid by the student. The Principal of the college, Pushplata Chouksey, said that 75 percent attendance is mandatory for regular students, otherwise they will be deprived of giving regular exams.

Students will download the form from the college website and go to the college and submit the form to the committee by attaching the admission receipt and a copy of the mark sheet. The entrance exam will be held on August 16, students who are successful in it will be given admission. Its classes will start from September 1. This course will be only for students taking regular admission in the college. Other students cannot take admission. The entire fee amount will have to be deposited together after selection.
