    Following the tragic deaths of eleven children who consumed a contaminated cough syrup, authorities have taken a Madhya Pradesh doctor into custody. The doctor, Dr. Praveen Soni, who practices in Parasia, prescribed the cough syrup ‘Coldrif’ to the children. The Madhya Pradesh government is also pursuing a case against Srisan Pharmaceuticals, the company from Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, that manufactured the lethal cough syrup.
