MUMBAI: NCP chief Ajit Pawar on Tuesday stated the Lok Sabha constituencies gained via the BJP in Maharashtra can be mentioned first within the seat-sharing talks of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) companions.

The MVA, an alliance of the Shiv Sena (UBT), Nationalist Congress Birthday party and Congress, will “hundred p.c” contest the following 12 months’s Lok Sabha elections in combination, he informed newshounds right here.

“We stated there must be a dialogue first on vacant seats (seats gained via the BJP in 2019) and what number of of those seats Congress, NCP and Shiv Sena must get. After that, discussions will happen at the last seats,” Pawar stated.

The Bharatiya Janata Birthday party had gained 23 of 48 Lok Sabha seats in Maharashtra in 2019, adopted via its then alliance spouse Shiv Sena which had bagged 18.

“There’s no method for seat-sharing. Uddhav Thackeray had expressed the need to stay the seats his birthday party had gained. However there used to be no additional dialogue on it. Leaders of the 3 events (for carrying out the talks) will probably be nominated,” Pawar added.

The `Vajramuth’ (team spirit) rallies of the MVA were postponed because of the emerging summer time temperatures and they are going to resume after the elements cools down, he stated.

Requested whether or not he contacted Maharashtra NCP president Jayant Patil who used to be puzzled via the Enforcement Directorate on Sunday, Pawar stated he’ll discuss to him in particular person.
