The Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, will officially open the new Delhi office of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg today. The inauguration will be attended by key political figures, including Union ministers, prominent BJP leaders, and a large number of party members. The ground-breaking ceremony for the office was conducted by BJP National President JP Nadda on June 9, 2023. In other news, Vijay’s party, TVK, has filed a separate petition in the Madurai Bench concerning the Karur stampede case, seeking a transparent investigation. A hearing on this petition is scheduled for today afternoon. The Madras High Court previously adjourned a hearing planned for Sunday evening. In addition, the Meteorological Department has issued a red alert, forecasting heavy rainfall in Palghar, near Mumbai. The district administration has responded by closing all schools and colleges, and is advising residents to stay indoors unless absolutely necessary.
