Lady allegedly raped in public rest room at Uttar Pradesh’s Pratapgarh

PRATAPGARH: A 20-year-old girl was once allegedly raped inside of a public rest room positioned close to a parking stand on the Pratapgarh railway station, police stated on Sunday. The incident happened on March 19, they stated, including that an FIR has been registered on this regard.

Station area officer (SHO) of Kotwali police station RN Rai stated the sufferer together with her husband had been ready to catch a teach when the incident happened. “The husband went to shop for tea within the morning leaving the lady on my own. This is when the accused, known as Anna, approached the lady and gave her a key, telling her that she will use it to get entry to a blank rest room positioned close to the parking stand out of doors. When the lady entered the bathroom, the accused raped her,” he stated.

The accused fled from the spot after the incident. The husband rescued the spouse and knowledgeable the police. “In accordance with the criticism filed through the lady, we have now box an FIR of rape (segment 376 IPC) towards the accused. Two groups had been pressed to find and arrest the accused,” stated the SHO.
