    The Indian government has expressed deep concern over the abduction of three Indian citizens in Mali. The incident occurred during an armed attack on the Diamond Cement Factory in Kayes on July 1st. The Ministry of External Affairs has confirmed the details and has urged the government of Mali to take all necessary steps for the safe and early release of the kidnapped Indians. The Indian Embassy in Bamako is actively working with local authorities and security agencies, while also maintaining contact with the families of the victims. The MEA has clarified that the government strongly condemns the act of violence and is making efforts to ensure the safe return of the abducted individuals. Indians in Mali have been advised to exercise caution and stay in contact with the Indian Embassy for assistance.
