In a show of faith and gratitude, BRS leader Kalvakuntla Kavitha made a pilgrimage to the iconic Tirumala Venkateswara Temple in Andhra Pradesh on Friday, just days after securing relief from the courts in the Delhi liquor policy case. Scaling the sacred seven hills on foot, Kavitha sought blessings from Lord Venkateswara, emphasizing that truth and divine support always prevail.

Kavitha, daughter of former Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, has endured years of political turbulence. She recounted how relentless targeting and smear campaigns sought to tarnish her reputation by linking her to unrelated controversies. ‘The entire nation witnessed the political vendetta against me over the past four years,’ she stated firmly after her darshan. ‘But my faith in truth and God never wavered, and justice has finally prevailed.’

The temple visit marked a personal triumph following intense scrutiny in the now-scrapped Delhi excise policy scam probe, where she was questioned by authorities. Court interventions have now cleared much of the cloud, allowing her to focus on what she describes as her true calling: public service.

Beyond spiritual solace, Kavitha dropped a political bombshell. She revealed plans to launch a new political party in Telangana within the coming months. ‘I want to serve the people of my state and bring fresh direction to its politics,’ she declared. This move signals her intent to carve an independent path, distancing from the BRS’s recent electoral setbacks.

Kavitha’s resolve shines through her ordeal. She climbed the challenging Tirumala hills as a testament to her unyielding spirit, asserting that those who tread the path of truth receive divine companionship. Appealing for public support, she vowed to work not just for herself but for the welfare of Telangana and the nation at large.

As Telangana gears up for future political battles, Kavitha’s re-entry promises to stir the landscape. Her temple vows and party launch hint at a renewed fight for justice and development, backed by the blessings she cherishes.
