Amir Rashid Ali, a resident of Samboora, Pampore in Jammu & Kashmir, has been arrested by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in connection with the Red Fort car bomb blast. Investigators believe Ali collaborated with the suicide bomber, Dr. Umar Un Nabi, an academic from Al-Falah University, to obtain the vehicle used in the attack. Dr. Nabi has been confirmed through forensic evidence as the individual who died in the explosion while driving the explosive-filled car. This arrest is a pivotal moment in the NIA’s investigation, which has been working to uncover the full extent of the terror module and its operatives responsible for the tragic event.
