The man’s elder nephew died in the stampede, and his other nephew’s location is still unknown. His sister-in-law is currently receiving critical care in the ICU. The chaotic incident transpired during a rally in Karur, organized by TVK leader and actor Vijay, resulting in a reported 36 fatalities. Several individuals collapsed amidst the turmoil and were immediately transported to a hospital for urgent medical attention. The victim recounted the family’s plight, revealing the tragic death of his nephew and the eye injury suffered by his own son. The gravity of the situation has left him utterly distraught and uncertain about how to proceed.
