A truck carrying Kanwar pilgrims overturned in Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand, resulting in one fatality and injuries to 14 others. The accident took place near Jajal, Tachla, under Thana Narendra Nagar. The truck was travelling from Rishikesh to Chamba. Upon receiving the news, local police, administration, and the SDRF team arrived promptly and launched a rescue operation. The injured were taken to Fakot Primary Health Center for initial treatment. Those with serious injuries were subsequently moved to AIIMS Rishikesh and Narendra Nagar Hospital. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami expressed sorrow over the incident and offered support for the injured individuals.
