    The monsoon season shows no sign of leaving India this month. The meteorological department has predicted heavy rainfall across the country, from the mountains to the plains. Several states are likely to experience a resurgence of the monsoon. Rain alerts have been issued for various states today. Meanwhile, Delhi, the national capital, has not seen rain in the last 10 days.

    There is no expectation of rain in Delhi until September 21, according to the weather department. Today, Delhi will have partly cloudy skies. The maximum temperature is expected to reach 34 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature could be 24 degrees Celsius. The partly cloudy conditions will remain in Delhi until September 21.

    The weather has changed in Uttar Pradesh. The weather department forecasts heavy rainfall in the state in the coming days. Today, Western UP will see rain in some areas, and Eastern UP will experience rain and thunderstorms in several places. Heavy rain is also a possibility in both parts of the state. The department has also warned of thunderstorms and lightning in certain areas.

    Orange Alerts: States Under Watch

    Bihar is under an orange alert, with heavy rainfall predicted for the next 72 hours. The weather department has issued an alert, warning of significant rainfall in at least nine districts. Thunderstorms and lightning are also expected. Jharkhand is under an orange alert. Heavy rain is expected today in Madhya Pradesh and Madhya Maharashtra. Mumbai is under an orange alert. Heavy rainfall is expected in Goa. Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Bengal are likely to experience heavy rainfall over the next two days.

    Mountain and Northeast India Weather

    Uttarakhand is anticipated to have heavy rainfall today. The weather department has issued a yellow alert for several districts, including Champawat, Udham Singh Nagar, Dehradun, Chamoli, Nainital, and Bageshwar. Himachal Pradesh also has a heavy rain alert in effect for several areas today. In Northeast India, Arunachal Pradesh is likely to get heavy rain today and tomorrow. Light to moderate rain is expected in Nagaland, Manipur, Tripura, and Mizoram from today until September 21. Heavy rainfall is expected in Assam-Meghalaya. Sikkim may experience rain until the 18th.
