Chief Minister Hemant Soren and his wife, MLA Kalpana Soren, visited the home of the late Ramdas Soren in Ghodabandha, Jamshedpur. They offered their respects and paid floral tributes to a photograph of the deceased. During the visit, the Chief Minister conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family. He offered prayers for the departed soul and for the family to find strength in their grief. Soren expressed the profound pain caused by the loss of Ramdas Soren, coming so soon after the death of his father, Shibu Soren. He described the loss as a personal and statewide tragedy, an emptiness that cannot be filled. He reflected on Ramdas Soren’s unique contribution to the separate Jharkhand movement under the leadership of Shibu Soren, highlighting his approachable nature and commitment to social service. Soren stated that although Ramdas Soren is no longer with them, his spirit and work will continue to inspire. The Chief Minister also commended Ramdas Soren’s efforts as the former Minister of School Education, including his initiatives to improve education quality in government schools and strengthen infrastructure, particularly emphasizing the development of underprivileged children. Ramdas Soren, the former Education Minister of Jharkhand, passed away on August 15th in Apollo Hospital, New Delhi, following a period of treatment.
