This lack of action has fueled anger among the villagers. The absence of electricity brings darkness to homes every night, which is negatively impacting the education of children. Children are now struggling to study using candles or lamps.
Furthermore, the villagers are deeply worried about the increased risk of snake and scorpion encounters during the monsoon season. They perceive the department’s indifference as a reflection of the district administration’s neglect. The villagers are urging for immediate action, including either installing a new transformer or repairing the existing one, to restore the power supply to the village.
