    Swine flu hits Ranchi, three suspects admitted to Medica

    Ranchi: The changing weather in the state has also increased the infection, H1N1 and swine flu have been confirmed in three persons at Medica Hospital in the capital Ranchi. According to the report, all three of them are undergoing treatment at Bhagwan Mahavir Medica Superspeciality Hospital.

    According to doctors, H1N1 flu, commonly known as swine flu, is mainly caused by the H1N1 strain of the flu (influenza) virus. H1N1 is a type of influenza A virus and many flu viruses like H1N1 can cause seasonal flu. Symptoms of H1N1 flu are similar to seasonal flu. These include fever, cough, sore throat, body ache, runny nose, headache, chills and fatigue.

    How does this virus spread?

    The N1H1 virus spreads from one infected person to another through air. This virus spreads from one person to another through coughing, sneezing and spitting.
