Ranchi. In Jharkhand, strong security arrangements have been made for the festival of Bakrid. The Jharkhand Police Headquarters has ordered the deployment of a total of 5500 additional personnel in all 24 districts of the state. These soldiers will include armed forces to sticks, so that any untoward incident can be stopped.
Instructions have been issued to take special vigilance in sensitive districts of the state like Giridih, Hazaribagh, Palamu, Jamshedpur and Ranchi. A large number of security forces are being deployed in these districts. These additional jawans have been deployed from June 6 to 8, who will cover the duration of the festival of Bakrid.

In view of security, 1200 in Ranchi, 800 in Hazaribagh, 440 in Jamshedpur, 600 in Giridih, 210 in Lohardaga, 130 in Palamu, 135 in Bokaro, 135 in Bokaro, 100 in Dhanbad, 100 in Chatra, 100 in Khunti, 110 in Dumka, 110 in Dumka, 600 in Sahibganj, 110 in Garhwa, 110 in Koderma, 110 in Koderma. 60 in Seraikela, 60 in Simdega, 60 in Latehar, 60 in Ramgarh, 60 in Deoghar, 60 in Godda, 60 in Pakur and 60 in Jamtara. Apart from this, all Superintendent of Police (SP) has been asked to be special vigilance in their respective districts.
