Muharram was commemorated on Sunday in the Sonaraythadi block, encompassing villages such as Jamua, Chandna, Madhuban, Mahapur, Upar Nawadih, Tinghara, Bhorajamua, Binjha Kurwa, Chandanpura, Kharbaria, Bara, Barmotra, Kusumthar, Pipra, Paudeya, Paharidih, Heth Nawadih, Jeruwadih, and Dumaria. The festivities included processions with tazias in Sonaraythadi, Chandna, and Upar Nawadih, where participants paraded through the villages. Children showed great excitement during the event. Safiq Ansari, Hidayat Ansari, Basaruddin Mian, Kamarul Ansari, Moin Ansari, Alam Ansari, Kalam Ansari, Kalim Ansari, Rakib Ansari, and Jasim Ali conveyed greetings to each other. The parade experienced a minor delay due to the rain, as stated by the locals.
