The Chief Minister announced that the Ranchi Institute of Neuro-Psychiatry and Allied Sciences (RINPAS) will soon undergo significant improvements. The aim is to strengthen its infrastructure and educational programs. A comprehensive assessment of existing shortcomings will be undertaken to correct them. The state government is dedicated to ensuring that patients with mental health conditions receive improved care and access to advanced treatment methods. These remarks were made during the centenary year celebrations commemorating the 100th anniversary of RINPAS. The Chief Minister acknowledged the century of service, dedication, and trust of everyone involved with RINPAS. He emphasized the growing importance of institutions like RINPAS in light of the increasing prevalence of mental health challenges. Providing better counseling and treatment is crucial. The Chief Minister observed that while no one wishes to need such services, circumstances often lead individuals to seek them. The government aims to improve the quality of treatment available. The Chief Minister stressed the need to adopt more advanced technologies in the treatment of people facing mental health issues.
