    A grave incident of sexual assault has been reported in Palamu, where a clinic operator is accused of raping a woman who brought her child for treatment. The alleged crime took place in Hutukdag village, Chhaterpur police station area. The accused, Sanjay Kumar, allegedly exploited the situation by claiming the child needed steam therapy for a cold. He then led the woman to an adjacent property and committed the alleged rape. The victim, who lives in Naudihabazar, managed to report the crime to the Chhaterpur police despite facing threats from the accused. Law enforcement officials apprehended Kumar, a resident of Rabda, and he was subsequently sent to judicial custody. The Palamu Superintendent of Police has confirmed the developments and the diligent response of the police department.
