The Second International Meditation Day, observed on December 21st, was marked in Ranchi by the release of a newly revised yoga book. Titled “Yoga Ek Drishti Mein” (Yoga in a Glance), the book was officially launched by the Minister of State for Defence, Sanjay Seth, at his personal office. This insightful work on yoga is co-authored by Dr. Parinita Singh and Dr. Archana Kumari. Dr. Singh noted that this publication is their fourth contribution to yoga literature, adding to their previous works like “Abhyasam” and “Paramparik Yoga.” She articulated a desire to convey their reverence for Indian culture through this book, which is intended for readers of every age. Dr. Kumari added that the core objective of “Yoga Ek Drishti Mein” is to demystify the intricate aspects of yoga through a theoretical framework presented in an easily understandable language, breaking down barriers for new practitioners.
