Two individuals have been arrested by Ranchi police in connection with the attack on traffic police officers at Kathal Mod Chowk. The assault took place on June 9th, targeting officers managing traffic. The apprehended suspects, Hans Yadav (Putti) and Munna Yadav (Akhilesh Yadav), were paraded in public, handcuffed, at the site of the attack. The incident stemmed from a traffic dispute involving an auto-rickshaw causing a jam, which led to the police instructing the auto driver to move the vehicle. This escalated into an assault on the officers, using sticks and stones, which resulted in injury to a Home Guard, Rohit Ganjhu. The police, utilizing technical and video evidence, launched raids across Ranchi, Latehar, and Palamu districts to locate the perpetrators. The police have made it clear that they will not tolerate attacks on law enforcement and that offenders will face consequences.
