A shocking incident of patricide has occurred in the Haratand area of Ranchi, under the jurisdiction of the Airport Police Station. A 32-year-old man, identified as Kamal Sahu, allegedly murdered his father, Govind Sahu, following a heated argument over financial matters. Reports indicate that the dispute had been simmering for several days before turning fatal on Wednesday. Kamal reportedly used a spade to attack his father, inflicting multiple severe injuries that led to immediate death. Hatia DSP Pramod Mishra confirmed that the accused was apprehended while attempting to flee the crime scene. The body has been sent to RIMS for a post-mortem examination as the investigation continues.
