Love and business collided in Ranchi, leading to a shocking incident where a man attacked his girlfriend in a desperate attempt to win a parking tender. The victim, Sonali Rai, was the target of a petrol attack orchestrated by her boyfriend, Ganesh Singh, on July 26th in the Kanke police station area.
The investigation revealed that the primary goal was to implicate a rival group led by Aman Chandra, who was competing for the same parking tender. Ganesh Singh, along with his associate Bhairav Singh, who was already in jail, devised the plot.
A fake Instagram account was created, using Sonali’s phone and email, to send threatening messages and fabricate links between Aman Chandra and a criminal gang. Following the plan, an individual sent by Bhairav Singh attacked Sonali Rai, causing her to be rushed to the hospital.
Police used sophisticated techniques to uncover the conspiracy, leading to the arrest of Ganesh Singh. Bhairav Singh, already incarcerated, will be questioned, and further investigations are ongoing, including exploring the victim’s role in the scheme and apprehending the attacker.
