The Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Hemant Soren, held a meeting with a delegation from the National Youth Force at his residence. The delegation presented soil from Nemra, the ancestral village of the Chief Minister. The group discussed a recent foot march organized by the National Youth Force, which started from Nemra and concluded in Ranchi from September 5th to 7th. The primary aim of the march was to commemorate the legacy of the late Dishom Guru Shibu Soren, highlighting his dedication, sacrifices, and contributions as a social reformer, particularly his work on de-addiction and environmental protection. The National Youth Force urged the state government to recommend Shibu Soren for the Bharat Ratna, the highest civilian award in India. Additionally, they requested the installation of a statue of Shibu Soren near either the Kanke Dam or the Hatia Dam in Ranchi, believing this would acknowledge the importance of Soren’s legacy and pay respect to the sentiments of the people of Jharkhand and India. The delegation included Uttam Yadav, Durga Charan, Sawan Linda, Shailesh Nand Tiwari, Umesh Sahu, Nitesh Verma, Sonu Gupta, Rohit Yadav, Aryan Mehta, Ritesh Gupta, Ranjan Karmali, Prem Pratik Bambari, Chhotu Bediya, Anurag Tirkey, Ayush Gope, Prem Sahu, Ram Pravesh Gupta, Nilesh Mahto, Aryan Gupta, and Vishal Sahu.
