The monsoon season, which commenced early in Kerala, has picked up pace again. On Wednesday, the monsoon reached eastern Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. This has led to widespread rainfall across more than 20 states in India. The IMD forecasts heavy to very heavy rainfall for several states over the next few days.

Pre-monsoon showers are currently occurring in many states, including the capital. The monsoon is expected to enter Delhi-NCR between June 20 and June 23. Delhi can expect cloudy skies and moderate rain today, with the rainfall continuing until June 25. Thunderstorms and lightning are also possible.

**Weather Predictions for UP and Other Regions**

Eastern UP is experiencing rainfall with the arrival of the monsoon, and strong winds are expected. The monsoon is expected to cover the entire UP within the next three to four days. Coastal Karnataka, West Bengal, parts of Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, eastern Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Gujarat, Konkan, and Goa might experience light to moderate rainfall, with heavy rainfall in some areas, in the next 24 hours. Light to moderate rainfall is also possible in parts of Bihar and Odisha.

Light to moderate rainfall is also expected in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, the Western Himalayan region, and Lakshadweep. Interior Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Vidarbha could see light showers.
