Minister’s Public Forum Receives Numerous Complaints, COs Under Scrutiny

To provide quick solutions to public problems, Health Minister Dr. Irfan Ansari conducted a public forum at the Congress Bhavan in Ranchi. The minister gave instructions to the related department officials at the site to address the issues. The minister addressed the problems of a total of 97 people, prompting him to take immediate action and ask the officials to find solutions. The complaints in the forum included 5 related to health center construction, 12 from the supply department, 13 related to medical issues, 7 related to employment, 8 from disaster management, 13 for ration cards, 7 for transfers, and 22 land related complaints along with complaints from other departments. In many cases, the minister gave direct instructions to the officials and gave them directions to speed up the solution process. He also asked them to keep him informed about the progress of the work. The public forum was attended by people from various districts, including Ranchi, Gumla, Dhanbad, Palamu, Chatra, Giridih, Hazaribagh, and Khunti. The minister while talking to the media said that a large number of complaints and problems were presented, with land related issues being in the majority. The most complaints were related to COs. It was alleged that the COs are supporting the land mafias. He asked the officials to take action in public interest. Complaints related to drinking water, police station, urban development, health, and food supply were also presented. The minister stated that his effort is to solve the problems and that he wants to give his best to the public. About 90% of the problems have been solved. Some cases have technical issues and they will be resolved in due time. He assured that action will be taken on every application. He said that the public forum is beneficial for the people and the organization. This is a good initiative. People come when their work is done.
