Mercury will rise further in Ranchi, weather center issued advisory: avoid going out between 11 to 4 in the day

Ranchi: Temperature has increased in the entire state including Ranchi. It is getting extremely hot. The weather center has predicted the temperature in the capital Ranchi to cross 40 degrees in two to three days. Whereas a warning has been issued against running of hotels in Dumka, Godda, Sahibganj and Pakur of Santal Pargana. There is a possibility of heat wave at some places in Kolhan region, East and West Singhbhum and Seraikela-Kharsawan district. Abhishek Anand, scientist of the Indian Meteorological Centre, Ranchi, has said that there is no hope of relief from the heat in the coming time. The heat will increase and hot winds will blow in many parts of the state. The Center has advised people to avoid leaving their homes between 11 am to 4 pm. Here, as the temperature rises, the number of patients in hospitals is increasing day by day. Patients suffering from vomiting, diarrhea and dehydration have started increasing. Children and the elderly are becoming more vulnerable. In the last 10 days, around 1300 children reached major private hospitals of the city including RIMS and Sadar for treatment after complaining of vomiting and diarrhea. Talking about elders, in the last 10 days, on an average, 200 people daily reached OPD of different hospitals for treatment due to vomiting, diarrhea and dehydration. Of these, 65% are elderly, whose age is more than 60 years. RIMS physician Dr. Sanjay Kumar said that it is a matter of relief that till now no one has become a casualty due to vomiting and diarrhea due to the heat. People are falling ill due to vomiting and diarrhea, but are also getting cured with medicines. Children are taking five to six days to recover, while adults are recovering in three-four days. Within 10 days, 1300 children and 2000 adults reached the hospital after dehydration. The weather of Ranchi will remain like this for the next 4 days, according to the weather center. According to this, the temperature in Ranchi will remain hot for the next four days. The sky will be clear and the weather will be dry. There is no possibility of rain or cloud cover during this period. The maximum temperature can be 39 to 40 degrees and the minimum can be 26 degrees. On Wednesday, Ranchi’s maximum temperature was 36.8 degrees and minimum 25 degrees, Jamshedpur’s maximum 41.5 degrees and minimum 25.8 degrees and Daltonganj’s maximum 40.6 degrees and minimum 25.0 degrees. Weather Center gave advice to the common people>• Do not go in direct sunlight, avoid going out from 11 am to 4 pm.• Drink as much water as possible, ORS solution. What do doctors say… 1 month will trouble people more. The number of patients suffering from dehydration, vomiting and diarrhea has increased rapidly. Because our body is not able to tolerate the changing weather. Dehydration will trouble people more in the next one month. Be extra careful towards the elderly and children. There is lack of water in the body due to vomiting and diarrhea. People think that juice is beneficial in case of vomiting and diarrhea in summer. But the juice is raw and causes harm. If the child is becoming lethargic then definitely take him to the doctor.
