Ranchi police conducted a major operation resulting in the arrest of 121 wanted criminals. The operation was spearheaded by 60 police teams, comprised of 216 officers, under the direction of SSP cum DIG Chandan Kumar Sinha. The arrests took place across 25 police stations in rural Ranchi, targeting individuals facing charges ranging from violent crimes like murder and robbery to financial offenses like check bouncing and fraud.
The arrested suspects were taken to the New Police Line for a formal parade. After review, 22 individuals were released on bail, while 99 were sent to jail, including three Naxalite operatives. The successful operation underscores the commitment of the Ranchi police to combat crime and uphold the rule of law.
