The incident occurred in the Tamad police station area of Ranchi. The victim’s family suspects a land dispute as the motive, with three villagers being named as suspects in the murder. The investigation revealed that Suresh had gone to collect mushrooms with a local resident. The police are currently conducting raids to apprehend the accused individuals. This incident is another example of the violent consequences of land disputes in the region, which have been a persistent issue since the state’s formation.
