Ranchi: Voting has been completed at 7 am in four Lok Sabha seats including Ranchi Lok Sabha seat of Jharkhand.
There was a long queue of voters at the polling stations in Ranchi since morning.
Enthusiasm was seen among voters even in the scorching heat
Even the scorching heat in Ranchi on Friday could not dampen the enthusiasm of voters. In urban areas, people left their homes to cast their votes at 6 am. This is the reason that by 12 noon, 28 percent voting had taken place in the capital. Ranchi SSP Chandan Kumar Sinha is continuously touring the capital with a bike squad.
SSP arranged tents for voters
During this, when the SSP reached Jawahar Nagar booth after seeing a very long queue, people requested him that the queue is very long and the sun is very strong, so some solution should be found to get relief from the sun. On the instructions of the SSP, four sets of tents were immediately brought from Ranchi Police Line and installed outside the polling station. After this, people felt relieved and voted in a queue. At many places, policemen were seen making elderly people sit on wheel chairs and get them to vote.
