Lok Sabha Elections 2024: In the seventh phase in Jharkhand, Rajmahal 66.98, Dumka 70.58 and Godda 67.24% voting

Newsroom Team: Voting for the final phase of Lok Sabha elections 2024 concluded today. Voting was completed in three Lok Sabha seats Dumka, Godda and Rajmahal in Jharkhand. The overall voting percentage till 5 pm was 67.95 percent, while 69.89 percent votes were cast in Dumka, 67.24 percent in Godda and 66.98 percent in Rajmahal. Voting was done from 7 am to 5 pm. A total of 904 candidates are trying their luck in this phase of elections. A total of 53 candidates have entered the electoral fray on these three seats. In which 19-19 candidates have entered the electoral fray in Godda and Dumka and 14 candidates from Rajmahal Lok Sabha seat. A total of 6258 polling booths were set up for voting in the three Lok Sabha seats. In the seventh and final phase of the Lok Sabha elections to be held on June 1, about 53,23,886 voters will decide the fate of these candidates. After the final phase of voting, the fate of candidates of all 14 seats of Jharkhand was sealed in EVMs. The fate of the candidates will be decided after the counting of votes on June 4. The trend of who will win and who will lose will start coming from 1 pm on June 4. Voting started at a slow pace in the morning, but by 12 pm the pace of voting had picked up. There was a long queue of voters at the booths. People were standing and waiting for their turn.
