Tragedy struck in the Tapkara police station area of Khunti, Jharkhand, when a young girl was murdered by her boyfriend. The perpetrator entered the victim’s home and, in a shocking act, attacked her with a knife in the presence of her mother. Authorities were promptly notified and initiated an investigation.
The suspect, Premchand Sahu, has been taken into custody. Their relationship began through Facebook. After a period of online communication, they began a live-in arrangement. During the time they lived together, the victim discovered Sahu was already married. This revelation caused friction and led to the girl being subjected to physical abuse. She ultimately decided to leave the relationship and return to her home.
On September 20th, Sahu arrived at her home and attempted to force her to return with him. When she resisted, he turned violent, attacking both the girl and her mother. The assault culminated in the fatal stabbing of the girl, which occurred directly in front of her mother. Despite efforts to save her, the girl was pronounced dead at the hospital. The police have begun the process of investigating the crime and have taken the accused into custody.
