Ranchi. The government of Jharkhand is taking initiative to change the arrangement of recovery of land revenue. While the Right to Service Act will be implemented in government offices for settlement of land related cases, the bar code will be implemented for cutting the rent receipt of the land.
Land Revenue Minister Deepak Birua on Thursday held a virtual review meeting with the departmental secretary and all the Divisional Commissioners on this new proposed system. He said that this system will prove to be helpful in giving convenience to the common people in the cases related to land and the increase of revenue to the government. Minister Birua said that people have to travel from the office of the employees to the court to get the rent receipt of their own land. Therefore, the system of bar code will now be implemented. With this, people will be able to get the receipt by depositing the rent of their land from the mobile itself.
