Preparations are underway for a major provincial convention organized by Kshatriya Gaurav Ekta in Ranchi during February. This significant development emerged from a recent district-level meeting led by Amarendra Singh, where strengthening and expanding the organization were central themes. The meeting saw active participation from community members across Ranchi’s wards and surrounding areas, who provided input for the large-scale event.
A key resolution was the establishment of ward and block committees within Ranchi and its rural districts. These committees are tasked with connecting with Kshatriya community members and encouraging their involvement in the organization and the upcoming event. Praveen Singh, a former MLC, addressed the gathering, outlining Kshatriya Gaurav Ekta’s commitment to unifying and advancing the community. He shared details about ongoing statewide efforts to ensure the February event’s success, including his personal visits to Jharkhand’s districts. Singh stressed the indispensable need for unity to achieve progress and gain recognition at both political and social levels, stating that a united voice commands respect.
He described the event as a community-owned initiative and called for united action to ensure its triumph and organizational growth. The long-standing demand for a ‘Swarn Aayog’ in Jharkhand was also brought up. Sunil Singh, a former MP, delved into the specifics of organizational expansion, particularly focusing on integrating the Kshatriya population in Santhal Pargana into the movement. He anticipates significant participation from this region in the Ranchi gathering. Singh also passionately advocated for women’s inclusion, believing their active participation and leadership will significantly empower the organization, and announced plans for women-centric initiatives.
