    The Koderma Bengali Association organized a spectacular Bijoya Sammelan, celebrating the spirit of togetherness and post-festival joy. The event took place at the renowned Ravindra Bhawan on Sunday evening. President Dr. Omyo Biswas conveyed his best wishes for a happy Vijoya to all attendees. Secretary Uttam Chatterjee provided a comprehensive overview of the evening’s agenda. The celebration commenced with homage paid to the revered poet Rabindranath Tagore through a ceremonial garlanding of his statue. A captivating welcome song, performed by a group including Tapati Chakraborty, Mousumi Biswas, Priya Banerjee, Dr. Sangeeta Prasad, Soma Pal, Mili Mitra, Arup Mitra, Vipul Gupta, and Sujit Biswas, under the direction of Sunil Debnath, enchanted the audience. The Tabla duo of Vikas Thapa and Adrijya Biswas provided a rhythmic foundation for the musical presentations. The three-hour-long cultural program featured a plethora of performances by the younger generation, highlighting their diverse talents in singing and dancing. Standout acts included Antar Ghosh’s ‘Durga Elo Durga Elo,’ Ahana Banerjee’s ‘Aaye Giri Nandini,’ and dynamic dance numbers by Antara Mukherjee, Priyanka Das Pal, Prakriti Ghosh, Anushree Vaidya, Archy Das, Rajsi Das, and Adrija Biswas, earning them thunderous applause. Abhinandan Roy’s vocal performance was also well-received. The youthful energy of Doel Tandon during her dance to ‘Kine De Reshmi Churi, Naile Jabo Baper Bari’ brought immense joy to the spectators. A musical interlude featured Luna Mitra’s masterful guitar performance of Rabindra Sangeet, which was thoroughly enjoyed. Indrani Mukherjee and Tapati Chakraborty also presented memorable songs. The evening’s proceedings were expertly managed by hosts Sandip Mukherjee and Sulagna Roy. Among the distinguished guests and attendees were Kalyan Banerjee, Kalyan Majumdar, Dasharathi Banerjee, Sudhanya Ghosh, Alok Sarkar, Sameeran Biswas, Juhi Dasgupta, Sapan Dey, Tapas Dey, Pintu Majumdar, and Dilip Majumdar. Anoop Sarkar expressed gratitude in his closing remarks.
