Giridih: India Alliance’s candidate Kalpana Murmu Soren filed her nomination today at the Collectorate of Paparwatand in Giridih for the Gandey Assembly by-election of Giridih. Along with Kalpana, Chief Minister Champai Soren, Minister Basant Soren, Badal Patralekh, Mithilesh Thakur, Alamgir Alam, Many senior leaders of India Alliance including Vinod Singh, Satyanand Bhokta, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Mahuva Maji were present.
After nomination, all the leaders including Kalpana Soren, CM Champai Soren left for the election public meeting at Gana Paperwattad ground.
Gandey seat was vacant after the resignation of Sarfaraz Ahmed.
Let us inform that after the resignation of Dr. Sarfaraz Ahmed, MLA elected from Gandey seat of Jharkhand Assembly, this seat is vacant from 31 December 2023. Now the election notification has been issued with the signature of Election Commission Principal Secretary Arvind Anand.
