Justice MS Ramachandra Rao appointed Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court

Ranchi: The Central Government has appointed Chief Justices of the High Courts of eight states. Justice MS Ramachandra Rao has been made the Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court.

Justice MS Ramachandra Rao was the Chief Justice of Himachal Pradesh High Court. The Jharkhand government had approached the Supreme Court demanding the appointment of a permanent Chief Justice in the Jharkhand High Court, after which this permanent posting was made. Apart from this, seven more Chief Justices have been posted.
