    The State Level School Band Competition, a highlight of the ‘Khelo Jharkhand’ initiative, has concluded with the Ramgarh team securing a commendable silver medal. Students from the Kasturba Gandhi Balika Awasiya Vidyalaya, Kaitha, representing Ramgarh, showcased their musical prowess at the Birsa Munda Athletics Stadium in Khelgaon. The 25-member pipe band, guided by Captain Rani Kumari, captivated the audience with a series of patriotic melodies, ultimately securing the second-highest position among participating schools from across Jharkhand. District education officials extended their congratulations, emphasizing the collective effort and hard work that led to this success. The girls’ disciplined performance and musical talent were widely applauded. This achievement is expected to inspire more students to participate in extracurricular activities and sports, promoting a holistic approach to education in the state. Plans are underway to institutionalize band training in more schools to nurture budding talent.
