Jharkhand NHM Pledges Malaria-Free State on World Malaria Day

On World Malaria Day, the National Health Mission (NHM) Jharkhand organized a seminar at the IPH Auditorium in Ranchi. Mission Director Shashi Prakash Jha emphasized the state's resolve to make Jharkhand malaria-free. He highlighted that just as polio was eradicated through public awareness and collective effort, malaria can also be eliminated. Jha urged citizens to maintain cleanliness, clear stagnant water, and use mosquito nets regularly. The Health Department carries out 46 different health activities annually to ensure the well-being of the state's residents.
