Dumri MLA Jairam Mahato, who also heads the Jharkhand Lok Kranti Manch (JLKM), was involved in a road accident on the Dhanbad-Purulia road. While the escort vehicle accompanying the MLA was involved in the accident, the MLA’s vehicle was not damaged. The escort vehicle reportedly overturned. The driver of the MLA’s vehicle took immediate action, applying brakes to prevent a collision. The MLA was returning from a program when the accident took place.
