Tragedy struck in the Sikidiri police station area of Ranchi, Jharkhand, where a man took his own life by consuming poison. The man, Nitla Ganjhu, was in constant conflict with his wife due to his alcohol consumption. The couple frequently argued over his drinking habit. On a particular day, a heated argument took place between them. Subsequently, the wife went to the market, and in her absence, Nitla ingested a pesticide. By the time the wife returned home, he was dead. Police investigations revealed that the deceased had a history of mental instability and had attempted suicide before.
